Many believe that a person can choose his or her own destiny; but if God has chosen you, then how can you choose anything or anyone but God? Satan is running rampant on this earth; however, the real battlefield is actually in your own mind. This statement isn't to say that you are losing your mind. The fact remains, that it is in your mind where Satan attacks you and takes you down. It is the battle between good and evil, and it is also in your mind where the struggle begins. Evangelist Joyce Meyer couldn't have said it better, "Are you a POW in the region of your mind? The mind is a battlefield where our war with Satan is either won or lost".
It says in Ephesians (6:12 NLT): "For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places".
With so much evil happening widespread in the world today, we now know that the End Times are already upon us. Even for those of you in denial, you really need to wake up because your final destination is not all that far off. It is entirely up to you, but it really is time for you to take control of your own destiny.
This event referred to as 'The Rapture' is mentioned a few times throughout the bible. Although the actual word "rapture" is not mentioned in the bible, it is however, implied. One of these implications in scripture is located in Matthew 24:39-42:
Matthew 24:39-42 (New International Version)
And they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
It States in 1 Corinthians 15:51-57 (New International Version):
Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed- in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
